Residents Stars Of Our Story Video About The Forest
Our Story, a new video on life in The Forest at Hi Hat Ranch, is a moving three minute movie on Sarasota’s only master planned community with a neighborhood designed exclusively for acreage estate homes. Three families from The Forest tell their stories over the backdrop of beautiful footage of the property.
Our Story was filmed over several days in May 2014 and includes dramatic footage of the property and interviews with residents Mark and Karen Hildreth, Alex and Lynette Ramos and Mike and Gina Rouen. The Forest developer Tom Dabney and Premier Sotheby’s International Realty representative Brian Wood also share insights on the community.
“We have these fantastic residents who are enthusiastic about their community and Brian was able to bring them all together to tell their stories first-hand,” said Dabney. “This is definitely not the typical ‘real estate video’ and we’ve had rave reviews from everyone who has previewed it.”
Noted area film maker Detlev Von Kessel shot and edited Our Story. The shoot included helicopter footage and drone cameras to provide a unique perspective of the property for viewers. The movie focuses on the natural setting of The Forest allowing viewers to experience it as the residents share their insights. Our Story comes together as an interesting and informative short narrative that is also very enjoyable to watch.
